Institute offers free training sessions at Internet World exhibition

The Chartered Institute of Marketing is offering free taster sessions for two of its training courses at this year's Internet World event.

The Institute will be providing free taster sessions on 'How your sites can earn their place at the top' and 'Profitable paid search in the credit crunch' on Thursday, 30 April, which will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Speaking ahead of the event, David Thorp, director of research and professional development said: "In these difficult times marketers are increasingly looking to the internet and digital marketing to drive sales.

"Getting your web site noticed is essential in the current climate, and our free taster sessions will show visitors just how they can go about achieving this."

Now in its 17th year, Internet World will take place on 28-30 April 2009 at Earls Court 2, London.
