The Campaign for Learning, which organises Learning at Work Day (14 May 2009), is running the 'Skills Shorts' competition to encourage a fun and entertaining perspective on the world of workplace learning and skills. To be eligible for the competition, films will need to highlight learning and skills and must use hands as the main characters. The Campaign for Learning says the most entertaining film uploaded by 31 May will win its director a Flip Video and a morning on a film set with Video Arts, the sponsors of the competition. Julia Wright, head of marketing at the Campaign for Learning said: "Learning at Work Day is all about inspiring people and organisations to see the benefits of learning related to the workplace. We hope that the film competition will do this in an entertaining way, as well as offer people the chance to uncover their film making talents." Martin Addison, managing director at Video Arts added: "Video Arts is delighted to be partnering with the Campaign for Learning to sponsor the Skills Shorts competition. Film is a great way of getting a learning message across in an engaging way and we look forward to being entertained and informed by the competition entries." Instructions on how to enter the 'Skills Shorts' competition and full terms and conditions can be found on the Learning at Work Day website Training Reference is not responsible for the content of external Internet sites.
