Global Knowledge opens new training centre in Leeds

IT and business skills provider Global Knowledge has opened a new training centre in Leeds.

The new centre, which will have the facilities to train up to 100 delegates at a time, will offer a range of courses specialising in Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft and VMware certifications. It will also host a variety of events focusing on service and project management.

Global Knowledge will be celebrating the launch of the new Leeds training centre on Thursday 24 March 2011 with a range of free seminars for business:

  • The importance of managing skills - How organisations can adopt a skills management methodology to help them ensure that the capabilities of the workforce align to strategic objectives. The presentation is aimed at HR practitioners, learning and development professionals and heads of practice.
  • Achieving world class operational support through your Service Desk - How getting certified can save businesses money, reduce their exposure to risk, and galvanise organisational support. This presentation is aimed at service desk managers, support managers and IT directors.
  • What is Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDi)? - Aimed at organisations that may have heard of VDI but require a summary of the benefits, the technology and the training programmes from Global Knowledge and vendors such as Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft and VMware.
