New version of WebEx Training Center released

Web meeting applications provider WebEx Communications have released an enhanced version of WebEx Training Center. The product is designed to enable companies to create, manage and deliver both live and on-demand training.

"Gathering, developing and delivering strategic business knowledge to your company and customers directly translates into an advantage in the marketplace," said Sanjay Dalal, director of Training Center Business for WebEx. "We designed this new generation of WebEx Training Center to simplify and accelerate the delivery of live and on-demand training across the organisation."

New Excel course added to Learning Tree Management Institute

Learning Tree International has added a new course, 'Power Excel: Hands-On Reporting and Decision Making', to its Management Institute Key Business Skills curriculum.

"Attendees of this course will be instructed in how to maximise the potential of Excel in order to make sound business decisions that can give their organisations a competitive advantage," said Jennifer Urick, Vice President of Product Development for Learning Tree International.

Learning Tree intends to begin presenting Power Excel: Hands-On Reporting and Decision Making in North America in March 2005, and in the London Education Center in April, 2005.

Asset Skills launch in Northern Ireland

Asset Skills, the Sector Skllls Council for property services, cleaning services, housing and facilities management, is hosting an event to announce its official launch in Northern Ireland.

The event will take place on Thursday March 3rd, at the Studio, Belfast Waterfront Hall. Nuala McKeever will host the event, which will feature an address from Will Haire, Permanent Secretary at the Department for Employment & Learning.

Roisin Radcliffe, Head of Asset Skills Northern Ireland, commented "The main role of Asset Skills is to improve business productivity by driving up standards and skills in the property, housing, cleaning and facilities management sectors."
