The report is published jointly with NHS Security Management Service. The research was commissioned following the report 'A Safer Place to Work NHS 2003' published by the National Audit Office (NAO). The NAO report found that there was a lack of evidence based information to support the process of selection, development and management of the trainers who provide violence and aggression management training within the healthcare sector. Blue Water Partnership trains 3,000th manager Management training company The Blue Water Partnership has announced it has trained its 3,000th manager since starting up in business six years ago. Managing director Gordon Roscoe said: "We work with each individual to create a programme that applies directly to their own role at work. We agree specific workplace objectives that relate to what is discussed in each session, and then at the next session we go back to these objectives and look at how successful the individual has been in implementing them. This is mentoring as much as training, and is a results-driven approach."
