Sales Trainer of the Year award

Newcastle-based Haider Imam, a sales trainer at Sage UK has won The m62 visualcommunications Sales Trainer of the Year category at this year's National Sales Awards.

The award was presented before more than 1200 sales professionals and VIPS at a gala ceremony, hosted by the BBC's Kate Silverton at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.

RM opts for InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Manager

Education services supplier RM is implementing InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Manager to help it track the skills of its 230 technical support engineers.

RM says it plans to use InfoBasis ESM to identify skills gaps and the training required to fill those gaps. The company also believes that future recruitment can be aided by a wider understanding of technical skills.

New appointments at the Leadership Trust

The Leadership Trust Foundation has announced two recent appointments to the Research Centre for Applied Leadership.

Sharon Turnbull is returning to The Trust as Director of the Research Centre for Applied Leadership, and Dan Archer joins The Trust as Senior Researcher.

RapideL available in new languages

RapideL, Brainvisa's rapid e-learning authoring tool is now available in three new languages - German, Portuguese and Italian.

The company says the product supports up to 22 languages making it possible to create multilingual versions of the same course.
