InterQuad to offer competency-based training management through Infobasis partnership

InterQuad today announced its intention to provide services running on the InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Infrastructure™ (ESI) platform. InterQuad will offer competency-based training management that aligns learning plans to clients' strategic business goals.

"Clients are growing increasingly sophisticated in their view of personnel development," said InterQuad Business Development Manager Adrian Hall. "They are looking for training targeted at business goals, together with the assurance that their budgets are being well spent. With InfoBasis ESI we can meet these requirements, and also ensure that training fully reflects clients' internal processes."

Simplifying the process of managing training and removing the barriers to its effective implementation across the enterprise are core parts of InterQuad's strategy, says Hall. Interquad believe InfoBasis ESI will help them pursue this goal by ensuring accurate training development plans, agreed through a rigorous but clear process.

InterQuad has recently become a member of the SFIA Foundation, and has mapped its training portfolio to the Skills Framework for the Information Age. According to the company, clients will benefit by having their skills benchmarked against the industry skills standard, and to quickly identify priority areas for training.

"There is a growing understanding that training can be made more efficient and effective through skills management," said Ashley Wheaton, CEO of InfoBasis. "As well as developing an organisation's key asset - its people - skills management can also ensure that training budgets are spent in the most effective manner. We're delighted that InterQuad, the fastest growing of the UK's top 25 IT training companies, will be offering these valuable services based on InfoBasis ESI."
