Survey respondents were asked to consider everything from exam quality to program benefits to customer service. And despite having more than 20 programs to choose from (plus an option to nominate others), Cisco was the clear winner in this category. "Getting certified can be a big commitment in both time and money. We wanted to give our readers a chance to voice their opinion on which IT certification titles are worth the effort," said Becky Nagel, editor of CertCities.com. "Our readers are passionate about furthering their education and training, so these awards provide one more resource for IT professionals to use in determining whether to certify and which titles and study materials to consider." "Congratulations to all the winners!," commented Henry Allain , publisher of CertCities.com and Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine "I'm just so pleased to see that once again our readers continue to reinforce that they are looking at a very diverse bunch of certification programs when they evaluate a particular credential or skill set. This diversity is healthy for the IT certification and training market. It says that when it comes time for an IT professional to pursue their first credential or additional credentials, there will be choices. And we all know that choice is a good thing." Other Winners from the CertCities.com Readers' Choice Awards: Most Respected High-Level Certification Best Entry-Level Certification Best Mid-Level Networking Certification Best Database Certification Best Security Certification Best Developer Certification Best Internet/Web Certification Best Study Guides Best Practice Exams The results are based on the responses from 485 IT professionals visiting CertCities.com during one week in November 2003.
