Crystal certification exams now available through Pearson VUE

Pearson VUE, the electronic testing business of Pearson Education, has announced that it has signed a multi-year contract with Business Objects to be the sole exam delivery provider of Crystal certification exams. These tests are now available at select test centres throughout the Pearson VUE network of over 3,500 Pearson VUE Authorised Centres around the world.

The newly created Crystal certification programmes are designed to enhance business intelligence skill proficiency and knowledge. Two certification programmes are offered with each programme requiring the successful completion of three levels of examination. These include the Crystal Reports Certified Professional education path and the Crystal Enterprise Certified Professional education path. The CRCP and CECP education paths are designated for report designers and systems administrators, respectively.

"Pearson VUE clearly had the best mobile testing solution and most flexible registration options," said Dan Klein, vice president of Education Services, Business Objects. "In addition, the use of CERTS, Pearson VUE's test development and programme administration software, will play an integral part in the growth and management of our new certification program."
