The conference is targeted at training providers and agencies supporting delivery of the IT user qualification. Karen Price, CEO of e-skills UK , said: "The 2006 Leitch review of the UK 's skills needs to 2020 highlighted the importance of IT skills to the future of our economy. Technology has become integral to the way we work, live and learn. ITQ is helping employers across the UK to develop their staff with the IT skills they need to do their jobs. "e-skills UK is delighted to host the 2007 ITQ Conference, a unique national event targeted exclusively at training providers. The conference will celebrate the first three years of this innovative, employer-led qualification for technology users; highlight and promote best practice; and provide support for organisations working with ITQ. We are grateful to the speakers, workshop hosts and sponsors for helping us to make this event possible." The conference will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham .
