Home > News > January 2004 > 05-Jan-2004 CIPD selects Consensus to help manage training and course booking processTraining administration and membership management software provider, Consensus, today announced that it has been awarded a major contract for its CourseBooker application and significant systems integration with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). Consensus will provide functionality to manage complex Conference and Certification as well as training course administration, accounting and other support functionality. CIPD will use Consensus to manage and administer training course bookings made via its call centre or through its online booking service. Peter Smith, chief executive officer of Consensus, says: "Training is a fundamental part of CIPD's philosophy about establishing best practice and encouraging the development of people in business today. As the market leader in this sector, we are delighted to be working with CIPD and consider CourseBooker to be a perfect fit for their requirements."
