Home > News > August 2004 > 17-Aug-2004 QA partners with InfoBasisQA has announced that it will integrate a skills management tool from InfoBasis, Enterprise Skills Infrastructure (ESI), into its solutions offering. QA will use the system to perform organisational Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and competency profiling. "This sophisticated skills management service is a valuable addition to our capability and will ensure clients get the right training when they need it," said Brian Sutton, QA's Chief Educator. "InfoBasis ESI will support QA's integrated learning solutions, delivering higher value programmes to our clients." QA has mapped its training portfolio against competency models including the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA). Supported by InfoBasis ESI, QA aims to help clients benchmark skills against industry standards and competency models, quickly identify skill requirements and measure the effectiveness of training. Ashley Wheaton, CEO of InfoBasis Limited said: "Organisations are now realising that training can be made more efficient and effective through skills management. Their businesses can be substantially improved with tools that help them better understand and develop their key asset - people. We're delighted that a company of QA's standing and track record will be offering these valuable services based on InfoBasis ESI."
