Using the story of Macbeth - and contrasting the actions and character of the warrior-tyrant and the quiet Prince Malcolm - Roffey Park says the programme will highlight effective leadership characteristics and styles and encourage participants to critically evaluate their own leadership approach. Called Courageous Leadership, the three-day programme will run from 23rd - 25th November 2005. "Macbeth is relevant to managers in today’s organisations because it contains key lessons about what makes a great leader," said Steve Tarpey, Director of Executive Programmes at Roffey Park. "It portrays issues such as trust and purpose and it draws a distinction between optimal and dangerous ambition."
