Gareth's research centred on investigating effective leadership across organisations. Gareth joined the Leadership Trust in 1998 as a graduate trainee in the then Grant Making Department and moved to the Trust's Research Centre for Leadership Studies later that same year, with an offer to study for a PhD via Strathclyde University Graduate School of Business. Gareth said, "I hope to build on the experience gained here at the Trust and get more involved with course delivery and content. I also hope to further explore how leadership in practice is reflected in leadership theory." A summary of his work appeared recently in LT Focus, the Leadership Trust's quarterly newsletter.
