Ken Blanchard Companies releases new leadership programme

The Ken Blanchard Companies has released a new leadership development programme based on Ken Blanchard and Mark Miller's book, The Secret: What Great Leaders Know and Do.

The company says the programme highlights five basic leadership principles rooted in the idea that good leaders act not as if they are in charge and make things happen, but instead SERVE the people they lead. They:

  • See the future
  • Engage and develop others
  • Reinvent continuously
  • Value results and relationships
  • Embody the values by 'walking their talk'

The Ken Blanchard Companies says The Secret is designed for leaders at all levels who wish to define their leadership; establish organisation-wide awareness of what great leaders know and do; inspire managers looking to increase employee engagement and support a culture change that embraces an attitude of service to others.

The Secret programme is a four-hour, classroom-based programme that includes a facilitator guide, PowerPoint visuals and a DVD featuring Ken Blanchard and Mark Miller. Participant kits including a workbook and a copy of The Secret book are also available.
