Bersin & Associates has announced the expansion of its research practice to encompass corporate leadership development. The research firm says new and planned research in this area will address the challenges faced by HR and training executives with responsibility for creating and managing leadership development programs and related talent management initiatives, such as performance management and succession planning. Josh Bersin, president and founder, said: "Virtually all market sectors are predicting shortages of qualified leaders. In response, companies around the globe are investing heavily in leadership development, as well as in related areas such as succession planning and talent management. "Our expanded research library and advisory services will help organisations design better programs, plan technology investments, implement measurement strategies, and benchmark progress against peers." 'WhatWorks in High-Impact Leadership Development: Essential Components, Best Practices, and Case Studies' is one of the new reports just added to the Bersin & Associates research library. Other research studies now available include 'Blended Learning in Leadership Development: Proven Learning and Delivery Models' and 'A Three-Tiered Approach to Leadership Training: Using Blended Learning to drive Culture and Leadership'.
