The new Acas guide, 'Front line mangers', looks at the important connection the first tier of line management can make with employees. ACAS says frontline managers need to be:
Gill Trevelyan, head of good practice services from Acas, said, "With the current downturn affecting the UK workplace, there has never been a stronger need for leadership and supporting employee needs. "The new guide from Acas is a vital tool when dealing with concerns and helping managers adapt their current role. This includes the growing need for welfare management in the workplace."
