A total of 30 apprenticeships are being made available across Chubb's fire, security, and integrated technologies businesses. David Millett, head of Chubb's learning & development team who will be administering the scheme, said: "Apprenticeship schemes have long been recognised as providing our business with skilled and capable engineers who are motivated and engaged to progress their careers within Chubb. "This is an exciting time to join the Chubb business as we move towards an integrated and customer focused provider of fire and security solutions in the UK and Ireland." The apprenticeships are held at two levels (Level 2 and Level 3 Advanced) matched to the appropriate nationally recognised Technical Certificates and NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications). Chubb monitors its apprentices' progress throughout the programme with ongoing assessments. David Millett added: "Most of our apprentices complete the full programme within 38 to 42 months and our team at the National Apprenticeship Training Centre in Blackburn take a keen interest in their development." The vacancies will be posted by role and location on Chubb's recruitment website: http://security.careers.chubb.co.uk/. A micro-site has been designed with information on the scheme, entry criteria, and the online application process. Training Reference is not responsible for the content of external Internet sites.
