Institute launches new sales training

The Chartered Institute of Marketing has launched an updated portfolio of sales training courses and qualifications.

The Institute says the content of its sales training courses was updated in conjunction with industry experts and practitioners to reflect the changing needs of sales professionals.

The updated sales portfolio now includes 24 training courses and three sales qualifications.

David Thorp, director of research and information at The Institute, said: "With today's highly competitive markets, for the successful organisation, it's essential to have professionally trained salespeople who are up-to-date with the latest sales techniques, technology, and increasingly legal issues as well."
