The methodology was developed by the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA), which is now part of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), to be the UK Government standard for IT project management. PRINCE2 Acredited Training OrganisationsThe APM Group Ltd provide an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) programme on behalf of the OGC. ATOs must run regular project management courses with a PRINCE2 qualified Approved Trainer present during all PRINCE2 courses. There are over 60 ATOs worldwide. PRINCE2 QualificationsIn addition to administering the ATO programme, The APM Group also provides the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification.
